7:00am- back to laying pipe on FM 6 today and concrete to arrive this morning for encasement.
8:50am- still no concrete, but 4 joints have been laid as hammer breaks more rock.
11:35am- slow day, 6 joints laid so far as rock continues to be broke out. Cleanup follows as the day progresses. Still no concrete for encasement.
11:56am- concrete has arrived!
12:24pm- encasement done. Gravel will be brought up to grade.
- At WWTF Phase 1 for final on fence going up and Rip Rap getting placed back by RL Persons.
1:45pm- Explosive Contractors Inc., blasting to take place here shortly at LS6 site for wet well.
3:02pm- blasting went off without any issues. Pipe crew has laid 9 joints si far with rock breaking along the way.
4:30pm- Boring machine had to be lifted out of pit late today due to it breaking the front shaft. Crew will have it back tomorrow to finish last 10’ of reaming.
5:17pm- 17 pipes laid today. Rock went away just after 9th joint today.
