Branson Creek Ph 2 - Flat Creek

More rock breaking scheduled today with some laying of pipe hopefully. 

7:00am- Rest of the rock around the water lines from yesterday to be broken on out. 

8:40am- roads are getting cut in Pinnacle today. 

10:20pm- rock breaking still occurring. Crew unsure if pipe laying will occur...if they do, it will be very little. 

I will be leaving site today here shortly.

Crew is back to breaking rock again today on FM6. 

8:20am- part of the crew is back on Ph 1 to address a few issues from the inspection videos of the 26” pipe. 

A scrape in the pipe, a possible gasket issue, and measure the water in the low spot in the pipe where a sag was called out. 

10:18am- crew still looking at issues and taking pictures. 

1:15pm- rock breaking still occurring today on FM6. 

Buffalo Ridge HOA crew had to come out and fix a water/sprinkler line today due to it getting broke by jackhammer. 

2:08pm- part of the crew is at MH A26 now to test fit straps for drop inlet, but appears they are too short. 

3:36pm- straps are now on MH A2 12” drop. 

4:32pm- rock breaking still going strong today on FM6 as the day begins to wind down.

Crew will be digging and breaking rock again today on FM6. 

8:30am- excavator has located a water/sprinkler line. 

10:42am- 4 excavators now working on FM6. A lot of rock breaking occurring. 

1:23pm- still breaking rock; hose blown on excavator in foreground, and more water/sprinkler line located again by excavator...

2:10pm- I’ve been with Boyce’s crew today on and off as they navigate the repair list. They have ran a camera down the lines in Fieldstone looking at issues and have found more than is listed. I have instructed them to get with Jamey Keys to get things figured out since more issues are now visible than quantified on the list. 

3:57pm- been at new Liftstaion 4?  Flatcreek is working on stalling valving and such. Spoke to them about backfill again and to make sure safety grates are installed and permanent ladder in valve vault is placed correctly. 

4:30pm- rock breaking has been consistent all day long and will round out the day.

6:58am- crew loading parts that arrived yesterday late. 

Crews did not work yesterday due to the rain and lack of parts. More work today on forcemains. 

7:26am- crew will work on intersecting forcemains where the 4” and 6” tie together. 

9:00am- utilities are being located as crew digs this morning. 

10:28am- clearance now under utilities as pipe is getting ran now. 

1:10pm- pipe and fittings are installed at 4” to 6” tie in. A reducer is used on 4” side of tee off a short piece of 6”. A Thrust block will be formed next as jack hammers break more rock today. 

2:40pm- thrust block now poured in place at 6” tee. 

5:00pm- rock breaking still occurring. 1 joint of pipe laid with 6” tee placed and thrust block poured.

11:28am- bore pit at STA 40+00 shows that the ground has been blasted before and Boring Company is not good with drilling through ruble.

11:30am- concrete begins going down on encasement at STA 22+20 - 20+62. 

12:00pm- crew has laid 11 joints for today so far. 

1:10pm- been going over maps with Boyce crew on rehab work for Branson Creek sewers. 

2:00pm- encasement is finished and crew lays 15 joints today before stopping due to being at intersection of 6” and 4” tie in. No fittings are here to install it yet. 

Clearing is also being done on 4” force main near LS 6 site. 

2:50pm- bore at MH A37 to Liftstaion 3 is now completed with casing installed. 

Grades were shot and its near perfect!

5:11pm- crew has cleaned up area on forcemain 6 and is getting ready to call it a day.

6:53am- pipe crew will resume laying FM6 today. 

7:25am- rock has shown up again this morning. More breaking to occur. 

8:41am- 2nd joint now placed this morning. 

10:17am- 7 joints now placed. 

11:15am- bore pit at STA 40+00 is getting dug today. 

11:56am- blocks going in for pipe support at encasement above well head. 

1:14pm- more blocks placed and bottom rebar cage going in. 

2:11pm- 12 joints now placed and bottom rebar cages placed. 

3:18pm- the full run of pipe is now through encasement area for well head from STA 22+20 thru 20+62 along with bottom rebar cage. Top rebar cages to begin getting set and tied in place. 

4:47pm- top part of cages are now placed over pipe. Crew will clean up here and call it a day. 

5:00pm- Bore crew has now pushed all but 23’ of casing into bore at LS 1. They are going to bring machine back to set in hole again to push casing rest of the way.
