Branson Creek Ph 2 - Flat Creek

Crew will be continuing cleanup and starting seeding and straw today on 2” line. 

11:29am- crew has seeded and now straw is getting placed across 2” line work. 

Crew was able to get both the 1-1/2” and the 2” lines tied in today before the rain respectively, left to right. 

1-1/2” line at toe of slope for pool house.

Crew will continue with cleanup today around the sites. 

Yesterday they ended up running the inch and a half line from the tap at roadway to toe of slope at pool house for the pump tie in. The pictures below are from yesterday’s work. 

This morning pictures of both ends of pipe. 



10:56am- the 2” line for the club house is now on a hydrostatic test for two hours. 

12:36pm- the 1-1/2” line is now on hydrostatic test for pool house for 2hrs. 

12:56pm- 2” line passes Hydrostatic test. 

2:36pm- 1-1/2” line passes hydrostatic test.

Crew will be doing general cleanup around on the different sites today.

Crew will be working on getting 2” line the last couple of hundred feet today. 

11:20am- 2” pipe is now ran and cleanup ensues. 

3:16pm- Boyce has applied an air test on the 3900’ of 6” from FieldStone to top of the hill at pool house. 56 minute test is now underway. 

4:12pm- line passes air test.

No work today due to rain.

11:00am- Crew working on 2” line still as they approach the gravel parking lot. 

4:30pm- crew has now made it to the wood fence at Buffalo pun and STA 200 I believe. 

4:45pm- crew working in meter vault at LS4 to get another leak stopped.

Crew will be working on laying 2” pipe out to pump for club house today. They started it yesterday. 

8:29am- more gravel going down at LS4. 

9:50am- met with Junior w/ Boyce on getting 6” line tested at Fieldstone manhole now. BradW/ TCRSD has agreed to an air test and not a hydrostatic test. Boyce will get this scheduled. 

11:33am- meter vault at LS4 has a leak at drain line that Chris will have to fix. 

11:50am- crew working to get 2” pipe laid and are now out in Buffalo pin area. 

5:00pm- 560’ of 2” was laid today headed out to club house manhole.

Crew will be concreting thrust blocks on 6” line at tie in from yesterday. LS 4 work with filter fabric and base rock to go down. 

8:15am- filter fabric onsite now at LS4. 

Spraying sterilant. 

Also at this time the thrust blocks are now poured on 6” tie in fittings from yesterday. 

11:53am- crew working to locate pressure line from pump at Pool house across from water tower. 

2:50pm- still putting down base rock over filter blanket here at LS4.

Crew is onsite and awaiting rain to stop so they can work today. 

8:24am- crew will begin working on tie in of new 6” and old 6” from LS4. (Forcemain 4 @ STA 0+00) sheet 11A. 

9:35am- crew has now removed both bleed offs from lines that were tested and dug on out between the lines. 

10:49am- fittings are being tightened. 

11:13am- gravel going in on pipe and a partial bit of concrete was applied at fitting, but not acceptable due to to much water. Crew will concrete on another day as rain is beings again. This will round out the day here.
